ADC simultaneously samples 6 differential inputs

The LTC2351-14 from Linear Technology is a 1.5MSps low-power ADC with six simultaneous-sampling differential inputs. Operating from a single 3.3V supply, power dissipation is typically 16.5mW. The ADC features six individual sample-and-hold amplifiers and a multiplexer and targets multiphase power measurement, multiphase motor control, DAQ systems and uninterrupted power supplies. It comes in a 5-by-5mm QFN package.

Power dissipation can be reduced to 4.5mW in nap mode with the internal 2.5V reference remaining active, and to 12?W in sleep mode, with all internal circuitry powered down. The internal 2.5V reference can be overdriven with an external reference, up to the analog supply voltage. The device also converts 0-2.5V unipolar inputs differentially, or 1.25V bipolar inputs also differentially, depending on the state of the BIP pin. Any analog input may swing rail-to-rail as long as the differential input range is maintained.

The ADC is available today at $6.95 each in 1,000-piece quantities.
