Pickering intros PXI solid-state multiplexers
Keywords:multiplexer? PXI? switching module? Pickering? DMM?
Pickering Interfaces is expanding its range of PXI switching modules with the introduction of a range of high-density solid-state multiplexers.
The new switching module family is suitable for low-current and voltage applications where speed of operation, long service life and low contact bounce are essential. Applications include switching DMMs for 4-terminal resistor measurements or as an input switch to DAQ systems.
The 40-680 is available in a wide choice of configurations ranging from a 160-channel single bank multiplexer, a 20-bank, 8-channel multiplexer, to a 4-pole, 40-channel multiplexer. The 40-680 is able to handle voltages to greater than 15V and has a low typical on resistance of 150 ohms.
The 40-680 includes fault protection that ensures that if the module power is off the multiplexer is protected from voltages greater than 40V.
The 40-680 is compatible with any PXI chassis and is supplied with a complete range of drivers. It can be used with the company's 60-100 LXI Modular Switching Chassis series.
