Digital controllers target time/temperature apps

Zytron Control Products released the Series 1900 digital controllers, which provide control for on-off temperature, time/temperature and timing control applications.

The microprocessor-based product features a four-digit illuminated LED display, a rotary control dial and sensor and output options. It is available for direct panel mounting with an integral generic or custom graphics overlay or as a bare board configuration for use with the customer's own graphics panel for that "built-in look."

Standard Series 1900 models utilize 120/240VAC field selectable power input with a 24Vac factory option. Sensor input can be selected from "J", "K", "T" or "E" thermocouples or 100, 1- or 2kiloohm PRTD. Different outputs are also offered including, 3A, 10A, 30A SPST or SPDT relays, and DC SSR driver and alarm beeper. Both bare board and panel mount versions of the Series 1900 controller require less than a 3-by-3-inch panel cutout.

Series 1900 controllers are available at $40 each in volume quantities.
