CMOS op amp/comparator from Rohm

Rohm's new CMOS op-amp/comparators allow operation from 1.8V, ensuring compatibility with the latest low-voltage CPU and DSP power supplies. Full-swing I/O capability makes it possible to handle all signals from GND to the power supply voltage, even at a low supply voltage level (rail to rail input and output).

New CMOS op-amps BU7241G and BU7241SG feature a consumption current of 70?A while CMOS comparators BU7231G and BU7231SG operate at 5?A, making them suitable for portable digital devices such as notebook PCs, digital cameras and gaming devices, where energy efficiency is of critical importance.

The BU7261G and BU7261SG high-speed op-amps are capable of a slew rate of 1.1V/?s while the BU7251G and BU7251SG CMOS comparators deliver a response time of 0.55?soptimal for audio/sensor signal processing in portable digital devices.

A total of 24 1ch and 2ch CMOS op-amp/comparators are offered featuring either high speed or low power consumption. The entire lineup uses proprietary circuit technology for high ESD resistance (4kV)twice that of previous modelswithout increasing the input bias current. Several models (SG series) guarantee operation under the -40C to 105C temperature range, contributing to increased reliability.

The devices are packaged in SSOP5 (SOT-23).
