VI Technology Inc. has released Arendar 2007 version, which expands upon the highly-configurable and expandable Arendar platform to provide instant access to design, characterization, validation and verification, and manufacturing test information across the enterprise.

New features include a drag-and-drop report designer with one-click Web publishing of interactive reports, a fully user-customizable Web Dashboard, secure data transfers through firewalls and interactive data mining of swept parametric data. Arendar 2007 also has a new API. The API allows developers to add their own custom data importers, analysis and visualization plug-ins extending the Arendar platform to meet their specific application requirements. In addition, the API simplifies integration with other enterprise applications.

The new platform also supports technologies including SQL Server 2005, Windows Vista and ASP.NET. Users access their test results and reports anywhere, anytime using Web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

"Arendar 2007 brings proven enterprise technologies to the test and measurement industry," said Richard House, president, VI Technology. "We've taken business intelligence technologies and applied them to design, characterization and validation testing. Now, managers and test engineers have immediate access to the right information and at the right time so they can focus on improving their product's performance."

Arendar efficiently centralizes and aggregates test data, automatically generates custom reports and instantly publishes them to a secure Website. Managers and engineers can access the test results securely from any location through a Web browser.

The enterprise test software is now available. An entry-level Arendar enterprise test system including deployment services starts at $19,995.
