aTCA-6892 with dual 4Gbps Fibre Channel links from Adlink

Adlink Technology Inc. releases the aTCA-6892 processor blade, the latest addition to its full line of AdvancedTCA building blocks. aTCA-6892 offers dual 4Gbps Fibre Channel links with dual 64bit low voltage Intel Xeon processors and is targeted for telecommunication and IP network media services and data communication applications.

The processor blade features dual 4Gbps Fibre Channel links powered by the Qlogic EP2432 PCIe fiber channel controller. aTCA-6892 offers remote setup and can be configured with the Fibre Channel links at the front panel via SFP optical transceivers or to the backplane with Zone 2 connectors, supporting PICMG 3.1 option 4/7 connectivity. When combined with FC switch and storage blades, aTCA-6892 can directly access integrated, high-performance SAN in the same chassis without requiring additional fiber optic cabling.

By combining the dual 64bit low voltage Intel Xeon processors with up to 16Gbytes dual channel PC3200 DDR2 REG/ECC memory, aTCA-6892 provides advanced computing power for mission critical applications.

In addition to the Fibre Channel links, the PICMG 3.1-compliant dual 1000BASE-BX GbE fabric interface ports offer gigabit-speed data transport options inside the shelf. The front of the processor blade offers various I/O options including analog UXGA graphics, USB v2.0 ports and a serial console. This blade also offers a PCI/PCI-X 64bit/133MHz PMC site for further function expansion as well as reserved resources for a serial ATA RAID 0/1 enabled RTM interface.
