Phihong U.S.A. has developed a CEC-compliant, 15W single-output adapter, designated the PSAA15W, that meets Energy Star and CEC Level IV standards. The device is designed for portable equipment, modems, routers, peripherals and terminal applications.

"Cost- and energy-efficient adapters are a smart solution for personal electronics OEMs because environment regulations are becoming more widespread and today's consumers are more conscious about choosing energy-saving devices," said Keith Hopwood, VP of marketing, Phihong.

The PSAA15W adapter features 0A minimum load power consumption and a low leakage current of 0.25mA max. AC input voltage is 100Vac to 240Vac with a maximum AC input current of 0.5A at 120Vac.

This Class B EMI adapter, which measures 3.20 x 1.97 x 1.17 inches and weighs approximately 141.74g, is equipped with short circuit protection and auto restart.

Phihong has been active in promoting environmentally-sound power products, adapting its product lines to meet RoHS, WEEE, EU Code of Conduct, China Energy Council, Canadian Standards, Energy Star and Proposition 65 standards as well.

The PSAA15W single-output adapter is approved and listed by cUL/UL, CE and TUV. Pricing for the adapter starts at $14.69 in quantities of 100. PSAA15W adapter is currently available from stock.
