Fujitsu Microelectronics America Inc.'s latest 32bit MCU dubbed the MB91F467BA is designed for integrating several in-vehicle CANs or for controlling CAN, LIN and FlexRay mixed network gateways in automotive applications.
The MB91F467BA MCU incorporates a CAN controller with six channels. Each channel consists of 32 message buffers, seven channels of LIN-capable UART and two channels of I?C communication to allow the MCU to easily control various combinations of in-vehicle networks.
MB91F467BA operates at 80MHz using a single 3-5.5V power supply. The MB91F467BA incorporates 1Mbyte flash with 8Kbyte cache and 40Kbyte data RAM and five channels of DMA.
It has an 8 x 16bit free-run timer; an 8 x 16bit reload timer and 16 channels of an 8/16bit PPG. For signal capturing, the chip provides a 32-channel 10bit ADC, an 8bit ICU and 8bit OCU channels. It supports real-time clock, watchdog timer with separate clock source. It also incorporates an external SDRAM interface.
The devices are available now in 144-pin LQFPs, starting at $14.01 each for volume quantities.
