Electro-Mech's SW44511 tactile feel momentary potentiometer switch offers both rotary and push-on functionality. The compact all-in-one unit saves panel space in applications where there are tight design limitations.

The SW44511 SPST switch enables the user to specify a value so that at the push of a button the circuit or channel automatically opens at the preset level. The potentiometer switch is rated at 5Vdc to 24Vdc, 1-50mA resistive. Potentiometer resistance is rated at 10K +10 percent but can be customer specified. Other features include an operating pressure of 396.9g (+141.7g), plunger travel of approximately 0.080 inch, and a rated switch life of 1,000,000 minimum actuations.

Featuring a momentary edge lit knob and a momentary tactile feel pushbutton switch, the SW44511 offers a shorter behind panel depth and lower cost than the company's mechanical switch versions. Typical applications include industrial/avionics displays and audio controls, instrument panel controls and other high-density panels.

The switch weighs less than 28.35g with a 1/2-inch square body, and requires less than one inch of space behind the panel. It mounts via a 1/4-inch threaded bushing to the front panel. Interconnection is provided via wire leads or solder terminals.

Pricing is $15 at 1,000 pieces (without knob) depending on options.

Delivery is 10 weeks ARO.
