Rumor: ST to bid for Infineon

Rumors circulated early this week that STMicroelectronics (ST) may acquire Germany-based Infineon Technologies AG, according to a Reuters report.
The report cited traders talk that claim ST may bid about $17 per share for Infineon. Infineon's shares rose 3.8 percent to $15 on Aug 13, based on the rumors.
