Vishay Intertechnology Inc. has launched a new 1 Form A solid-state relay that provides fast switching speeds and low on-resistance for a variety of test and measurement and industrial applications.

AN optically isolated device, the VO14642AT features a fast typical switching speed of 800?s that provides higher throughput in test equipment, as well as low on-resistance of 0.25? that permits the use of multiple relays in applications needing low power consumption and heat dissipation. The relay is rated for a high 2-A DC maximum load current, and a load voltage of 60V.

Additionally, the device provides 5300V of input-to-output isolation. The relay offers clean, bounce-free switching and is TTL/CMOS-compatible. Available in tape and reel packing, the device features pure tin leads.

Samples of the new VO14642AT 1 Form A solid-state relay are available. Production quantities will be available in August 2007, with lead times of four to six weeks for large orders.
