In a statement, Samsung Electronics said it will fully cooperate with the ongoing U.S. government probe into possible anticompetitive practices in the NAND flash memory chip market.
This is according to a report from the ShanghaiDaily.com which quoted the company as saying that Samsung Semiconductor will cooperate with investigation of the Department of Justice antitrust division on the NAND flash market.
Samsung spokeswoman Lee Soo-jeong, however, did not elaborate on the statement, and could not confirm whether the company was part of the investigation nor whether it had received a subpoena.
SanDisk Corp. and 23 other companies are facing class action suit for suspected NAND flash memory devices price fixing.
