SATA flash drive has massive capacity

BitMicro Networks Inc. has expanded its flash IDE/ATA, SCSI, and Fibre Channel SSD lineup with the introduction of the E-Disk Altima E2A3 Serial ATA (SATA) solid-state flash drive. The 2.5-inch flash drive has a storage capacity of up to 416Gbyte of data and sustaining transfer rates of up to 100MBps, making it ideal for mobile computing, embedded and networked storage solutions. Volume shipments are expected to begin by Q2 2008.
The E-Disk Altima SATA drive is among the new generation of E-Disk solid state disks supported by the company's EDSA DMC and LUNETA MFI ASICs. The SATA drive can withstand shock and vibration up to 1,500G and 16.5G, respectively.
