Keywords:voltage-controlled oscillator? VCO?

Crystek Corp. has introduced a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) that operates from 2,778MHz to 2,945MHz with a control voltage range of 0.1V to 16V. The CVCO55CC-2778-2945 is housed in the industry standard 0.5in x 0.5in SMD package.

The VCO features a typical phase noise of -110dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset. Input voltage is 8V with a maximum current consumption of 40mA. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 5MHz and 2MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -15dBc typical.

It is suitable for applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations.
