Kingston Technology Co. Inc. is shipping a 1,066MHz ValueRAM DIMM designed specifically for AMD's Phenom processor.

Kingston worked closely with AMD on the launch of the Spider Platform, which consists of the Phenom processor, ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series graphics card and AMD 7-Series Chipset, to ensure peak memory performance.

Kingston's DDR2 DIMMs help fuel Phenom's four natively integrated processor cores, helping to bolster system bandwidth and platform performance.

The following devices are offered with different capacities and features. The KVR1066D2N7/512 512Mbyte 1,066MHz (CL7-7-7-20 at 1.8V) for $89; the KVR1066D2N7/1G 1Gbyte 1,066MHz (CL7-7-7-20 at 1.8V) for $178; the KVR1066D2N7K2/1G 1Gbyte 1,066MHz (CL7-7-7-20 at 1.8V) kit of 2 for $170; and the KVR1066D2N7K2/2G 2Gbyte 1,066MHz (CL7-7-7-20 at 1.8V) kit of 2 for $340.
