Binder-USA has expanded its shielded M12 connector product line with the release of a right-angled version with a cage clamp connection. The new version is now available for the 713 (A-coded), 715 (B-coded) and 825 (D-coded) series. This improvement is said to simplify installation and reduce connection time. All of these devices are suitable for industrial Ethernet applications.

The M12 right-angle connectors with the cage clamp design ensure persistent pressure of each conductor onto its respective contact, which provides a shock and vibration resistant connection, said Binder-USA. Each connector is designed with a diecast zinc housing and is available with either 4 or 5 gold-plated contacts. All connectors in the three series meet IP67 requirements.
