60A filter cuts differential mode noise, transients

Tyco Electronics has expanded its S Series family of Corcom filters with its smallest, multistage package for a 60A filter designed for high-noise industrial environments. This new filter extends the high end of the S series from 3A to 60A.

The 60VS6 filter is a high-performance device that combines the S series common mode interference rejection with additional circuitry to reduce differential mode noise and transients. Typical applications include industrial frequency inverters, motor drives, switch-mode power supplies and other high-current industrial equipment with high RF impedance.

Designed for global application in 120Vac 60Hz/250Vac 50Hz applications, the industrial-grade filters have full agency approval, including UL recognition, CSA certification and VDE approval. The compact filter measures 7.2 x 3.08 x 2.28inches (182mm x 78mm x 58mm). Terminals are 1/4-20 studs for line and load connections.
