Inductors shield high-voltage apps from EMI

A series of high-current radial-leaded inductors have been designed to provide EMI protection for electronic equipment used in lightning-prone and high-voltage areas, and high-reliability environments. These DR370-1, -2 and -3 series of inductors can be used in a variety of applications including automotive, instrumentation, factory automation, industrial machinery, power supplies and telecommunications equipment.

Depending on the specific model, the DR370-1, -2 and -3 inductors feature an inductance range from 0.31 ?H to 2.2 ?H. The DC of resistance is specified from 0.75- to 4.0m? maximum over a maximum current rating from 20- to 42A. The operating temperature range is -55C to +125C.

With their through-hole design, these inductors come in square packages sized from as small as 12.5mm x 12.5mm), with a height from 9.5 mm, depending on the specific model. They are compatible with high-speed assembly equipment, and are suitable for high-temperature soldering. Custom specifications are available. Pricing is from $0.20 each in typical production volumes. Lead time is stock to six weeks.
