Matsushita, Samsung settle all patent suits

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd has announced Jan.31 the settlement of all patent infringement suits and patent invalidation actions in the United States and Japan between Matsushita and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.

As a result of the settlement, Matsushita and Samsung entered into a patent cross license agreement for semiconductors and will terminate all of the pending actions between parties.

Details of the license agreement will not be disclosed due to confidentiality obligations.
