RF modules target handsets in emerging markets

Two RF modules aimed at the low-cost GSM and CDMA handsets in emerging markets have been released by TriQuint Semiconductor Inc.
Model TQM6M4028U is a dual-band GSM Tx module for use in the Americas. It is tested and pre-qualified for use with three leading single-chip baseband/transceiver manufacturers. Measuring 6mm x 6mm, the TQM6M4028U addresses the GSM850 and PCS1900 bands. The module features integrated power and SP4T control, an integrated SP4T pHEMT switch and low-pass Tx harmonic filter.
The TQM613027 is a high-efficiency PA-Duplexer module for CDMA cellular-band applications. The third member of the 7mm x 4mm TRITIUM II PA-Duplexer Module family, it is optimized for manufacturing cost efficiencies and is a drop-in replacement for the TQM613025.
Both modules are available now in volume.
