IIC-China this year debuted in the city of Chengdu. Next year it will make its mark in two new locationsXi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province in West China, and Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province in Central Chinain addition to Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

The spring edition of the show will cover Shenzhen, Feb. 26-27; Xi'an, March 2-3; Beijing, March 5-6; and Shanghai, March 9-10. The fall edition will cover Chengdu, Nov. 5-6; Wuhan, Nov. 9-10; and Shenzhen, Nov. 12-13. With Shenzhen in both the spring and fall editions, there will be seven events in all.

"International and domestic demand for new electronic products is feeding new and fast-growing industry hubs in China like Wuhan and Xi'an. "IIC-China will deliver design knowledge and associated technology to design innovators in these cities, plus extended reach for our customers, for the very first time in 2009."
