Bipolar chopping driver offers 1/16 microstepping

Nippon Pulse Motor has introduced a small bipolar chopping driver board, the NPAD10BF.

The NPAD10BF driver board measures 41.3mm x 43.74mm at its widest points. The NPAD10BF can offer up to 1/16 microstepping, and offers an input voltage range from 12-30Vdc. With an output current up to 1.2A/phase (peak), the NPAD10BF driver board is capable of driving two-phase stepping motors.

The NPAD10BF offers both an automatic current reduction function and a reset for sequence and disable. This unit also offers isolated input signals pulse, direction, enable and reset. The NPAD10BF has mounting holes, which gives the user the option to mount it onto the back of a NEMA Size 17 motor. The NPAD10BF works well with Nippon Pulse Motor PF/PFC series (tin-can stepping motors), PFCL series (linear stepping motors) and any other hybrid stepping motors.
