New Japan Radio Co Ltd offers the NJM2825, a high-precision micropower shunt-type reference voltage IC that is for data converter and industrial measurement applications.

As analog/digital and digital/analog data conversions must be processed within electronic devices, their converters are expected to have high resolution to accommodate high-speed communication and high image resolution. High precision of reference voltage and low temperature coefficient in a converter are significant factors contributing to this capability.

The NJM2825 is a shunt reference voltage IC providing high precision, low temperature coefficient and ultra-low current consumption. It features high-precision reference voltage (1200mV 0.5 percent), low temperature coefficient (10ppm/typ.) and ultralow current consumption (0.7?A max.). The compact packaging of SOT-23-5 (2.9mm x 2.8mm x 1.3mm) minimizes environmental impact. Shunt-type output reference voltage is externally variable for superior versatility of application.
