Oscilloscopes handle PCIe 2.0 compliance testing
Keywords:oscilloscope? PCIe 2.0? compliance testing?
The Agilent Infiniium 90000A Series oscilloscopes promise the world's deepest acquisition memory depth (up to 1 G points). This ultradeep memory gives designers the ability to capture 25ms of time, at 40 GSps, on all four channels simultaneously. This memory depth is six times deeper than the memory in other oscilloscopes in the same class. For PCIe, the 90000A's deep memory exceeds the requirement to capture a minimum of 1 million unit intervals of waveform data for jitter and voltage margin analysis.
The new Infiniium 90000A platform also promises unmatched measurement performance and superior signal integrity. The DSO and DSA models are capable of more than 150,000 measurements per second and offer modes supporting more than 300,000 triggers per second.
Agilent 90000A Series oscilloscope features:
Superior signal integrity: Industry-leading noise floor on all models (for example, 147?V rms noise floor at the 5mV per division setting for the 2.5GHz model).
Deep application analysis: The new InfiniiScan Plus event-identification system is based on the world's fastest hardware trigger system. This new trigger system can identify glitches faster than 250ps. No other oscilloscope in the world provides this level of trigger accuracy.
Robust applications: More than 29 dedicated applicationsincluding DDR2/3, DisplayPort, HDMI, Serial ATA, Serial Attached SCSI, Ethernet, USB, wireless USB, jitter analysis, RF signal analysis, eye pattern analysis and protocol decoding analysis. For PCIe electrical testing, the Agilent N5393B PCIe compliance application turns the Infiniium 90000A Series oscilloscope into a one-button electrical compliance validation instrument supporting PCIe 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0a electrical compliance measurements.
Investment protection: The industry's only upgradeable bandwidth for real-time oscilloscopes, upgradeable memory options and the industry's only application server licensing for oscilloscopes.
