Japanese firm Fujitsu Ltd said that Taiwan's Nanya Technology Corp. has withdrawn its appeal in a Tokyo District Court.

The appeal involved a recent ruling, which found that Nanya has infringed a Fujitsu patent. With the withdrawal, the decision of the Tokyo District Court on August 30, 2007 becomes final and non-appealable.

In its decision, the Tokyo District Court found that Fujitsu's patent is valid and is infringed upon by DRAM products sold by Nanya Technology Corp. Japan, a subsidiary of Nanya Technology.

The court granted an injunction against future import and sales of the infringing products and ordered the disposal of the infringing products, as well as granted compensation for past infringement.
