HDMI verification tool is OVM-ready

HDMI emerged as the de facto interface standard for connecting high-definition components such as HDTVs, DVD players and STBs.

eInfochips said its tool is Open Verification Methodology (OVM)-ready, ensuring that the HDMI UVC works with IEEE 1800 standard simulators. The UVC has been verified on Cadence Design System Inc.'s Incisive functional verification platform.

OVM was jointly developed by Cadence Design and Mentor Graphics to facilitate SystemVerilog interoperability with a standard library.
