4M-8M SPI cross reference: Spansion, STM, SST, MXIC, Atmel & Winbond

Spansion provides a wide range of SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) flash from 4Mbits to 128Mbits. The 4Mbit and 8Mbit SPI Flash are two of the most popular densities used and are produced by a number of flash manufactures including: Spansion, SST, ST, MXIC, Atmel and Winbond. Spansion SPI devices are for the most part compatible with SPI Flash from each of these manufactures and can be used to replace the following devices: ST M25P40/80, SST SST25VF040B/080B, MXIC MX25L400/800, Atmel AT25F4096 and Winbond W25p40/80.
