Z-Communications Inc. has launched a RoHS-compliant voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) model CLV1370A-LF in L-band.

This VCO operates from 1360MHz to 1380MHz with a tuning voltage range from 0.5Vdc to 4.5Vdc. It features a typical phase noise of -108dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 24MHz/V.

The CLV1370A-LF is designed to operate at 5V DC supply while drawing 18mA (typical) over the temperature range from -40C to 85C. It has a typical second harmonic suppression of -20dBc and comes in Z-Communication's industry standard mini package measuring 0.50in x 0.50in x 0.22in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
