Panasonic Electric Works (formerly Aromat Corp.) has developed a high current version TX relay for thermostat applications.

The TX-TH version has 7.5A maximum switching current for inductive loads rated at 100,000 operations. A proprietary iron core design establishes one of the highest switching current of any comparable model, according to Panasonic.

A range of coil voltages are offered including 2.4Vdc, well-suited for battery powered thermostats operating at 3Vdc. A standard footprint allows for easy replacement on existing applications.

Pricing for 1,000-piece quantities, starts at $3.08. Samples are available immediately.
