USB device adds digital, analog I/O features
Keywords:data? USB? analog? I/O?
It is designed to record data from four incremental encoders, eight digital inputs and four analog input channels. In addition, the USB4 provides eight digital output and four analog output channels. The eight digital outputs also have a latching emergency stop (E-Stop) input. When the E-Stop input is activated, the eight digital outputs will turn off immediately. The analog I/O channels provide 12bit data conversions at rates up to 44KHz per channel.
To maintain streaming data integrity over a USB link to a host PC, the USB4 incorporates a 32Mbyte FIFO to buffer captured data when the host PC or USB link is busy. This comes with easy to use software, Windows DLLs for C++ and Visual Basic, including source at no extra cost.
