ITT Interconnect Solutions has launched a coaxial RF connector along with 12 phase-matched RF cable assemblies. The connector has a press fit contact that works well in 250C with a shelf-life of 25 years.

"Its component was created to meet the customer needs for an RF connector with a pin contact compliant with the customer's equipment, along with the extended operating temperature," said Keith Teichmann, director of marketing, ITT Interconnect Solutions. "Since many applications only reach 200C, we offer the RF cable assemblies with two dielectric materials to best meet customer's specification and cost requirements."

For operation up to 250C, a cable assembly with a silicone dioxide dielectric is specified, while those applications with a temperature range of 200C can use the cable assembly with PTFE dielectric.

The semirigid cable sets are phase-matched to 2 at 3GHz, employing a range of temperatures to 200C and 250C, depending on cable assembly.

The RF connector sets are specified for military and industrial applications where reliable performance is set at high temperatures for a prolonged period.
