High frequency relay is now surface-mountable

The ARS high frequency relay from Panasonic Electric Works now comes in a surface mount version.

High frequency characteristics are provided up to 3GHz, with 75? and 50 varieties available. Options include 1-and 2-coil latching, and standard and reversed contact arrangements (1 Form C).

Features of the ARS include low operating noise versions30dB rating; a compact sizeapproximately 60 percent smaller than previous models (RK and RE models); and dimensions of 14mm x 8.6mm x 7.2mm.

Typical applications include STBs/tuners, digital broadcasting market, wireless devices, antenna switching and measurement equipment.

Pricing for 1,000 single side stable, 12V version starts at $2.92 each. Delivery is stock to eight weeks.
