Slim profile earmarks EMC enclosure

The SlimKit enclosure is said to deliver excellent EMC performance without the expense of separate gaskets. Instead, EMC contacts are integrated into the sheet metal. The covers of the chassis feature EMC tabs that provide protection, and the enclosure sidewalls have punched and formed EMC "spoons" that provide extra EMI/RFI suppression.

In addition, the enclosure design minimizes the assembly time required with only a few identical screws. Typically, enclosures require a lot of screws to minimize gaps in the chassis for EMC but because Elma's enclosure has EMC built into the sheet metal, fewer screws are required, saving both assembly time and cost.

The SlimKit is available in 240mm and 360mm depths with other chassis heights available. Optional accessories include grounding terminals and tilt feet in grey or black. Pricing starts at less than $100.00 each. Lead time is from stock to two weeks.
