Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. has released its first DDR2 SDRAMs such as IS43DR32800A and IS43DR32801A. These are being touted as the industry's first 256Mbit DDR2 SDRAMs with a 32bit bus.

The IS43DR32801A is a 1.8V device produced as 8Mx32, with speeds up to 400MHz (DDR2-800), providing data transfer of up to 6.4Gbit/s in 64bit systems.

The 256Mbit DDR2 DRAM can be used in a variety of high volume applications like networking and telecommunication equipment, HDTV, LCD TV, STBs, HDDs, automotive and digital consumer applications.
