Holy Stone International has released a family of halogen-free leaded ceramic and disc capacitors. These include the relative dielectric constant (RDC) and AXC series of epoxy-coated radial and axial multilayer chip-type ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and the stacked delta cell (SDC) and high dielectric constant (HDC) series of safety certified and commercial disc capacitors.

The halogen-free RDC radial dipped ceramic capacitors are designed for car electronics, power supplies and inverters/converters. The HDC halogen-free series is used in power circuits, backlight inverters, modems and communication products where high and ultrahigh voltage ratings are a requirement, while the SDC safety certified series applications include DTV converters, VoIP and power supplies. The SDC series carries UL and CSA approval.

These products are certified to exceed published halogen-free standards, which generally refer to maximum bromide and chlorine levels for a combined total of 1,500ppm.
