AML-2 termination

Link Microtek's engineering division is offering a comprehensive range of medium-power waveguide terminations that feature an innovative one-piece construction.

Rather than being manufactured by brazing together several different metal parts, the AML-2 terminations are made from a single aluminium flange extrusion, resulting in a more compact, rugged and reliable design.

The range comprises 16 rectangular-waveguide models and eight double-ridge models. The rectangular versions come in various lengths, with frequencies ranging from 1.12GHz to 40GHz and power handling capabilities as high as 1,500W, while the double-ridge versions span the frequency range of 2GHz to 40GHz and offer power ratings up to 250W.

Suited for a variety of microwave test and measurement applications, the AML-2 terminations are designed for convection cooling and deliver a VSWR of better than 1.1:1 over the full frequency range.

In addition to the standard range, Link Microtek's engineering division offers a rapid-turnaround custom design service for special requirements such as non-standard dimensions, performance, power handling or cooling facilities.
