Aaeon Technology has launched ECB-910M, an XTX carrier board, which uses ITE IT8712KX as its I/O chipset and features four serial ports, one parallel port, three USB ports, PS2 keyboard and mouse, IrDA and 8bit programmable digital I/O.

The carrier board is introduced in different configurations supporting different combinations of features and storage. Common storage features are parallel advanced technology attachment, floppy disk drive and two SATA ports. Another key feature of the board is its wide expansion capabilities such as two PCIe x1 slots, ExpressCard, mini card, PCI, and mini PCI.

The ECB-910M is a micro-ATX form factor board that helps both AT and ATX power supply input. Extensive display support includes a DB15 VGA and dual-channel LVDS connectors. An optional 5.1 channel-audio circuit is employed for superior audio performance. Among all standard carrier boards, the ECB-910M is best suited for proof of concept and software validation of XTX modules, reducing the development schedule for speedier time-to-market.
