Panasonic Electric Works Corp. has released the LF-G relay, which fits inverter applications in photovoltaic power generation systems and UPS. Other applications are home appliances and office equipment.

The LF-G relay has a 2.5kV surge breakdown voltage between contacts (EN61810-1-certified) and complies with the European photovoltaic standard VDE0126. The power relay gives a 1 Form A contact arrangement with a high capacity rating of 22A, 250Vac and low-coil holding voltage with a 280mW equivalent power use. High insulation resistance is a major feature and creepage distance between contact and coil terminal has a minimum of 8mm, while clearance distance has a minimum of 6.5mm and surge breakdown voltage is 6kV.
