The company said the new SnapXPM products are available now and cost 25 percent to 30 percent less than the company's existing XPM products.
"Module customization is costly and time-consuming," said Pearl Cheng, VP, engineering and operations, Kilopass, in a statement. "To eliminate manual work in customizing XPM modules, we preconfigure popular options and convert the process to fully automate operations. Design automation of these commonly used configurations helps us to offer a competitive solution to our customers," he added.
Kilopass said SnapXPM has 40 XPM modules that are most commonly used in customers' designs and is prepackaged to meet customers' requirements. SnapXPM is available from 0.18? to 65nm at foundries like TSMC, Chartered and Dongbu.
It added that configuration options cover density, read voltage, program/read bus width, and charge pump. By removing manual implementations of modules, the company noted that it is able to provide SnapXPM for 25 percent to 30 percent less than its other XPM products.
