Plastic-encapsulated parts gear up for military apps
Keywords:part plastic encapsulated? military aerospace apps? device PR?
Maxim Integrated Products introduces its /PR family of ruggedized, plastic-encapsulated devices for high-reliability military and aerospace applications. Designed and fabricated for applications that demand high-temperature performance and enhanced reliability, /PR devices are 100 percent burned-in for 120 hours at +135C and tri-temp tested at military temperatures. Additionally, for military and aerospace applications, these /PR products have the traditional Sn/Pb finish. These devices thus provide cost-effective solutions for electrically stressful environments, such as mobile military and aerospace systems, claims the company.
