Fox Electronics has expanded its line of small form factor, low voltage oscillators with the 1V F200 series offering standby function that reduces the current consumption to 5?A for more efficient power usage.
The F200's low current draw of 2.5mA across the 1.8MHz to 32MHz frequency range and 3.5mA from 32.1MHz to 50MHz makes the new oscillator series suitable for a wide range of environments with minimal air circulation, such as compact consumer electronics and weather-proof enclosures
The new oscillators are also well-suited for numerous portable and battery powered devices including satellite and terrestrial radio; WiMAX, 802.11 and Bluetooth wireless; wired and optical networks for voice, data and Internet as well as for automotive and test equipment; remote sensing equipment; and GPS.
Stabilities of the F200 range from 20ppm to 100ppm across an operating temperature range of -10C to +70C, with 25ppm through 100ppm stabilities available across an extended temperature range of -40C to +85C.
Pricing for an F200 series HCMOS oscillator model F205-25 in 2.5mm x 2mm package starts at $1.59 each in quantities of 10,000 on a standard tape and reel assembly. Delivery is eight weeks ARO.
