Samsung LED sets up manufacturing base in China

Samsung LED has set up its first overseas manufacturing base in Tianjin, China, according to a ShanghaiDaily report.
The Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) Administrative Commission disclosed that the Tianjin Samsung LED Co Ltd was built with a starting capital of $30 million. Commission spokesman Zhang Liang shared that initial #LINKKEYWORD1# in the facility would be $90 million.
However, Zhang said that it was not clear when the facility would be build and when production will commence.
