Op amps combine high precision, low noise
Keywords:operational amplifiers? op amp? amplifier?
Designed for power- and space-constrained applications, these high-voltage op amps deliver superior precision (MAX9943/MAX9944) and ultralow noise (MAX9945). The MAX9943/MAX9944 are designed for sensor signal conditioning, high-performance industrial instrumentation and loop-powered systems. The MAX9945 is well suited for portable medical and industrial applications that require low-noise analog front-ends.
The MAX9943 (single) and MAX9944 (dual) op amps operate from a wide, 6V to 38V supply and consume 550?A quiescent current per amplifier to minimize power consumption. These highly precise op amps have 100?V (max) input-offset voltage and 0.4?V/C offset drift. They offer a gain-bandwidth product of 2.4MHz.
The MAX9945 features 15nV/rt-Hz input-voltage noise density and 1fA/rt-Hz input-current noise density, making it suitable for noise-sensitive applications. This device operates from a 4.75V to 38V supply and consumes a low 400?A quiescent current. It has a gain-bandwidth product of 3MHz.
This family of high-voltage op amps is specified over the -40C to +125C automotive temperature range. The MAX9943/MAX9945 are available in 6-pin TDFN and 8-pin microMAX packages; the MAX9944 is offered in 8-pin TDFN and SO packages. Prices start at $0.75 for the MAX9943, $1.25 for the MAX9944, and $0.75 for the MAX9945 (all 1,000-up, FOB USA).
