Oscillators deliver ±150ppm frequency stability

Crystek has launched the new RF Pocket Reference Oscillator (RFPRO series), claimed to be the first frequency control product to integrate a complete True SineWave SAW oscillator in a rugged SMA housing. Connecting the RFPRO series' female SMA side to +3.3Vdc will output a clean -135dBc/Hz phase noise signal at 10kHz offset. In effect, each RFPRO is a fixed-frequency portable signal generator.

The RFPRO series oscillator offers frequency stability of ±150ppm over -20°C to 70°C (operating temperature range rated at -40°C to 85°C; storage -45°C to 90°C). RFPRO series oscillators are available off-the-shelf in 500MHz and 1GHz frequencies output.

Engineered and manufactured in the United States, the RFPRO series of oscillators is well-suited for laboratory and test instrument use. The RFPRO is currently available from Crystek's stocking distributors.
