Pickering Interfaces has introduced a 512 x 8 and a 512 x 4 high-density two-pole electromechanical relay (EMR) matrix, the latest additions to the company's line of customer focused LXI switch matrices. The 512 x 8 device is numbered as 60-555, and the 512 x 4 device is the 60-556.
The matrices provide a compact solution for applications requiring 8Y and 4Y axis connections and two-pole switching. They occupy just 1U of a rack height in a test system. With current rating of 2A and voltage rating at 300Vdc/250Vac, the matrices are capable of handling the most commonly encountered signals in ATE systems. The X-axis dimension can be selected from a range of six versions offering sizes from, 192 to 512 for each model.
User connections are provided by 160-pin DIN41612 plugs that are fully supported by the range of Pickering cable and connector accessories. The two products expand the range of 60-550 series matrices from Pickering that feature x4 to x64 Y axis dimensions by adding two-pole switching options to the range.
