?PG2251T6M PAs

California Eastern Laboratories has released its ?PG2251T6M GaAs power amplifier (PA) targeted at Bluetooth, 802.15.4/Zigbee and other 2.4GHz applications.

The ?PG2251T6M PA eliminates the need for RF component matching, which reduces component count, saves BOM cost, and simplifies procurement.

The device is intended for applications such as Bluetooth modules that are designed into notebooks, mobile phones, and headsets as well as 802.15.4/Zigbee modules which have wide applicability in automatic meter reading, wireless security, cable replacement, and intelligent lighting control systems.

At 2mm x 2 mm, the ?PG2251T6M is one of the PAs in the industry, enabling product designs where PCB space is scarce such as smart phones, digital cameras, handheld gaming devices and other consumer electronics.

Values are typical at 2.45GHz, Pin = -5dBm. It is housed in a 12-pin TQFN, measuring 2mm x 2mm x 0.37mm. Frequency range is 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz.

Pricing for the ?PG2251T6M is $0.82 in quantities of 100,000.
