TI Little Logic devices are logic-gate devices assembled in a small single-, dual- or triple- gate package. Little Logic devices are widely used in portable equipment, such as mobile phones, MP3 players and notebook computers. Little Logic devices also are used in desktop computers and telecommunications. Little Logic gates are common components for easy PCB routing, schematic design and bug fixes that add without taking up significant space.

System designers occasionally are faced with choosing the right product from several Little Logic families. AND, OR, XOR and NAND device functions, as well as other multiplexer functions are important in enhancing system reliability and fixing timing problems in circuit design. Parameters and features of Ioff, Con, input tolerance and speed are important when selecting the right devices for critical timing design. This application report lists some of the key product family features, parameters and advantages for selecting the right device for a specific design.
