Dolphin Interconnect Solutions ASA and Agilent Technologies Inc. launch the Dolphin Express as the high-speed interconnect for the Agilent Infiniium 90000 X-Series oscilloscope, claimed to be the world's fastest real-time oscilloscope. The interconnect is said to increase data transfer from the oscilloscope, which is capable of supporting 32GHz of true analog hardware performance.

Dolphin Express is a combined hardware and software solution designed for customers seeking improved real-time performance. The Agilent solution includes the DXH510 host adapter, which connects a host computer to the Infiniium 90000 via a fiber optic cable. The DXH510 adapter is capable of 20Gbit/s bandwidth to meet any users' performance needs, but it is with latency that it excels. The low latency adapter provides application-to-application latency of less than 1?s with guaranteed delivery for real-time applications. It also improves application flexibility by supporting both copper and fiber optic cables with distances up to 300meters.
