Seika Machinery Inc. has announced the release of the McDry Signal Tower equipped with ERC-301AD Hygrometer, an alarm system and a wireless temperature/humidity data logger designed for McDry electronic drying storage cases.

The storage cases, now equipped with the new hygrometer, detects the humidity level and triggers the light signal flash as well as an audible alarm sound when humidity goes over the set limit for a fixed period of time. After the alarm flashes, the unit saves 10 data readings, once every hour.

The temperature/humidity data logger permits users to readily view and track temperature and RH levels within the McDry cabinet to ensure safe storage of moisture-sensitive components and materials. The logger is easy to set-up, and offers a quick and easy way of exporting of graphs and logged data to an Excel spreadsheet.

McDry electronic drying storage cases attain low-humidity storage without the use of nitrogen. The cabinet's humidity is removed with the help of a zeolite desiccant. In turn, the desiccant is recycled automatically by the unit and needs no replacement.
