Aegis Software continues to innovate in its partnership with MYDATA to improve its offline machine programming support. The company has revamped its machine interface for MYDATA equipment and added a TPSys Live option to synchronize the database connection with MYDATA's TPSys database.

Using the "New Component Setup" wizard, the improved interface presents CAD shapes and TPSys packages that users can view in a single screen, It also offers a ranking of the most appropriate package candidates for unknown part numbers.

Product manager Mattias Jonsson said users can now "seamlessly program their MYDATA equipment through an elegant direct database connection, and add new components directly into the TPSys library." "The smart package selection allows users the added benefit of seeing the graphical comparison before a part is even placed. This will dramatically cut the time needed to program a new board," he added.
